A quick note on how I pay for my hobby these days.
Having been a hobbyist for more years than I care to remember I have – like most gamers – collected a large cupboard full of ‘projects’. Something struck me that I just won’t get them all done, so I should sell the projects I won’t [honestly] get around to. Heresy, I know.
So mid 2012 I sold a bunch of stuff on eBay and decided to become Hobby Neutral. This means that one project can be replaced by another. More accurately, one will finance the other. My Epic Armageddon armies had been collecting dust, so while this is a terrific integrated-turn-sequence system, I have realised that my Eldar were excess to requirement (leaving Space Marines, Orks, and, er, the start of an Imperial Guard army). The money I received from this one sale will easily fund new projects and the costs of this website!
So without raiding my savings I am working on a new project. I have become Hobby Neutral!
Game on!
